S.Evren BALAY
Born in 1968, Mr. Balay continues his law practices since the year 1990 when he was registered to the Bar.
He is one of the founding partners of the office. In addition to the sectors of energy, tobacco and alcoholic products, food and construction, Mr. Balay is specialized in Commercial Law, Company Law, Real-estate Law and Family law, throughout his long career started in İzmir. He also gives vocational training on Labor Law, to various firms. Following the foundation of EPDK (Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority) in addition to his practices in the certification procedures of the distributor companies and retailers, he has undertaken the transfer of contracts during the merger of the two leading energy companies. Dilaver ERYİĞİT
Born in 1967, Mr. Eryiğit continues his law practices since the year 1990 when he was registered to the Bar.
He is one of the founding partners of the office. Between the years 1990 – 1996 he worked as a senior attorney in a well known law office in İzmir. Between the years 1996 – 2001 he had contributions to the foundation of the Balay&Eryiğit Law Office as a founding partner. Between the years 2001 – 2005 he has undertaken the position of “Legal Consultancy of Retails and Investments” in the Shell Company of Turkey. He worked as the General Secretary of Avea Telecomunication Services Inc. in the year of 2006. Since the year 2007 he works as the managing partner in Balay&Eryiğit Law Firm. Throughout his career Mr. Eryiğit practiced particularly in the fields of Commercial Law, Company Law, Oil Market Law, Competition Law, Labor Law and Family Law. He has given training seminars in both local and international firms in the fields of Competition Law, Labor Law and Contract Management. Mr. Eryiğit took part in the merger of the two leading energy firms as the responsible legal counselor working on the creation of the data room, due diligence before the merger and transfer of the actives. Barbaros TORUN
Born in 1977, Mr. Torun is registered to the Istanbul Bar since the year 2002.
He has completed his postgraduate studies (LL.M.) on “International Commercial Law” at City University of London, in addition to his Bachelor’s Degree acquired from Istanbul University Law School. He joined the Balay&Eryiğit team as a trainee lawyer in the year 2001 and continued his practices until 2005 when he left to England for his postgraduate studies. Throughout this term, apart from his studies he also had an internship or three months in “International Major Deals” Section of Law Department of British Telecom Global Services. Mr. Torun mainly works in the fields of Commercial Law, Law of Obligations, Contract Law, Company Law, Labor Law and gives consultancy services to international companies that have vast investments in the Food, Medicine and Tobacco sectors. H.Özgün ALEMDAR
Born in 1979, Mr. Alemdar has been registered to Izmir Bar at the year 2005 and transferred his registry to Istanbul Bar in 2008.
After graduating from Dokuz Eylül University Law School, he continued his post graduate studies at Dokuz Eylül University Social Sciences Institute Public Law Department in the field of European Union Law. Between the years 2004 and 2008, he worked in a respectable law office practicing in Izmir. Following that, he has undertaken the position of senior expert in the leading telecommunication firm in Turkey. He has participated to European Convention on Human Rights Seminar, jointly organized by the Council of Europe and Union of Turkish Bars, as instructor and he has given lectures on property rights to his colleagues in various cities. He also gives vocational training on Labor Law, to various firms. His main practice areas are Labor Law, Law of Obligations, Commercial Law, Intellectual Property Law, Consumer Law and Contract Law. Süleyman Anıl ÖZGÜÇ
Born in 1983, Mr. Özgüç is a graduate of Istanbul University Law School. He was registered to Istanbul Bar in the year 2006 and has been working with our team ever since.
Throughout his professional career, he had experience in various fields. Mr. Özgüç continues his practices with our team mainly in the fields of Company and Commercial Law, Real-Estate Law, in addition to Contract Law, Family Law, Civil Law, Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law and Administrative Law. Ahmet Berk ÖZDEMİR
Born in 1985, Mr. Özdemir is graduated from Bilkent University, in 2006. After completing his internship within the Ankara Bar in 2007, he has left to England for his postgraduate studies, where he acquired a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree on International Commercial Law, Specialization in Maritime Law.
In addition to construction companies and law offices he has worked in General Secretariat of European Union Affairs before joining our team. His main practice areas are Maritime Law, European Union Law, Contract Law, Construction Law, Commercial Law and Labor Law. Languages : English, French

Meslek hayatına başladığından itibaren çeşitli hukuk alanlarında çalışmalarda bulunmuştur. Büromuz bünyesinde şirketler ve ticaret hukuku, iş hukuku, fikri ve sınai mülkiyet hukuku, sözleşmeler hukuku, gayrimenkul hukuku, medya hukuku, aile hukuku, icra iflas hukuku, idare hukuku, vergi hukuku, ceza hukuku alanlarında çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.

Trainee Lawyers: Yeşim Arıcan
Born in 1988, Ms. Arıcan is graduated from Koç University Law School in 2010.
She worked with our team in the summers of 2008 and 2009 as a trainee in addition to her internship within TUSIAD (Turkish Industrialists and Businessman Assosiation) Representattion Office in Brussels. Ms. Arıcan is continuously working as a trainee lawyer within our team since the year 2010.
